Hi,

Based on the history you have shared, the permanent solution for hiatal hernia is surgical repair if it's causing this much trouble to interfere with your routine.

However, for gastritis, the endoscopy and biopsy from stomach mucose may be needed to look for the cause of gastritis whether it's reversible or not. If it's not atrophic gastritis mostly it's reversible.

Meanwhile, antacids like Omeprazole before meals and motility agents like Domperidone or Itapride can be helpful for symptomatic relief.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care

Regards,
