General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi,
Thanks for posting in HCM.
I understand your concern.
Ambrodil S Syrup contains Ambroxol (15 mg/5 mL) and Salbutamol (1 mg/5ml) as active ingredients.
Ambroxol paediatric dosage is 1.2-1.6 mg/kg/day and Salbutamol paediatric dose is 0.1 mg/kg bodyweight/dose.
Hence, for children between 2-6 years, it comes to ½ tsp or 2.5 ml 3 times daily is the dosage.
Kindly do not exceed the recommended dose as it could cause adverse effects.
Hope the information provided would be helpful.
All the best.
