Suffering With Sore Nose, Swollen. How Can I Get Relief?

I have had a cold, and am now almost over it. I am now suffering with a verysore nose on the inside. It started on one side and now has trasfered t the other. It seems to be swollen in the sore area and feels almost like the pain of a deep pimple. Though I cant see anything. What could this be, and how can I get some relief?

Welcome to Health care Magic.

Regarding your 1st question that what could be the cause, the diagnosis is Flu or common cold due to viral infection. Due to continuous cold, there could have been excoriation of skin leading to Furunculosis, which you are feeling to be a pimple inside the nostril.

Here are the suggestions for you to have quick relief:
1. Steam inhalation 3 to 5 times a day
2. Anti histamine drugs like cetrizine shall reduce the running nose and provide you relief
3. Topical ointment Mupirocin to be applied over the area inside the nose, where you feel there is a pimple like spot. This shall relieve the pain apart from reducing the swelling.
4. Do warm saline water gargling 3 to 4 times a day. This shall soothen your nasal and naso pharyngeal mucosa and reduce the congestion and inflammation.

The 4 steps mentioned above shall give you very much required relief immediately.
