Hello and welcome to HCM.
Thank you for writing to us.
I have gone through your query and you need to first understand that pus cells seen in the urine are a sign of an infection. These are not of any major concern and can easily be treated. You have not mentioned to reason for investigation?
Usually patients experiencing urinary symptoms are advised a urine analysis to help guide the doctor through diagnosing and simultaneously treating the patient.
The diagnosis in your case is most probably a
urinary tract infection (UTI) this of course will have to be clinically co-related. Once this is confirmed, treatment can be initiated. Treatment includes antibiotic therapy, pain management medication (if pain is present) and the use of a potassium based solution which will help in relieving symptoms of a UTI.
In the meantime, please consume plenty of water and also add cranberry juice to your diet till you are completely fine, as this has shown to have added benefits in relieving UTI-related symptoms.
I hope I have succeeded in providing the information you were looking for. Please feel free to write back to me for any further clarifications. I would gladly help you.
Best wishes.
