Suffering From Tinea Curis. Prescribed Medicines. Had Temporary Relief. Permanent Solution?

i am suffering with tinea cruris more than 1 year,doctor advised me treatment as follow- azithromysin tab(5 days),ketoconazole tab,levocitrazine tab and clotrimazole cream for 15 days after this treatment my problem solved for some days but it bounced back drastically,,,doctor advised same treatment but same thing happened,,,this cycle is going on and on from 1 year,i have taken this treatment 4 times,,now I m totally depressed,,,pls tell me permanent solution for this,,,IS TINEA CRURIS PERMANENTLY CURABLE ???????

hi..thanks for writing here.Tinea cruris is the name for fungal infection which occurs in groin region.This region is always moist and therfore recurrence is common.You just have to keep that area dry.You can start using antifungal powder over these areas.Just check your blood sugar levels,also take terbinafine tablets 250 mg for 14 days.

It is completely curable - No need to get depressed.
See the dermatologist again / may have second opinion..
Long term treatment - like once weekly fluconazole - will eliminate.
