Orthopaedic Surgeon, Joint Replacement 's  Response
Hi, thanks for writing to HCM.

The very fact that you are using Parkin (trihexiphenidyl) tablets indicate that you suffer from parkinsonism. The most effective way to counter Gas formation is by consuming either Antacid gels or a PPI (proton pump inhibitor) drugs like Omeprazole, pantaprazole, rabeprazole etc.

It is not advisable nor recommended to substitute a drug without consulting your treating physician, as he knows about your clinical condition well.

So, I suggest you to approach your treating doctor and discuss the issues.

Hope this information is helpful. Good day
