Suffering From Plantar Faciatis, Prickling In Heel. Tried Rolling On Ice, Picking Up Marbles. Treatment?

I have Plantar Faciatis and am doing everything to treat it... strassburg sock, rolling on ice, foot ball, picking up marbles, new shoes and inserts. My question though is that when I try yoga poses, such as downward dog, or I stretch the back of my leg, I have this prickly feeling in my heel at the back. What could this be. Its mild, but not comfortable

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi,

It seems like a stimulus acting on the nerve and causing a simple muscle twitch. It could be a good sign of improvement.

Do not worry about this.

Continue to do the exercises as you said.

Wish you good health.

Regards,
