Suffering From Flu

Hi
I think I have the flue , for two days I hav been in bed and although my body does not ache anymore, I have a block nose,my ears hurt a little and I have a sore throat which does not allow me to sleep well at night. What should I do so I can feel better

I can understand your situation and problem.
By your history and description, possibility of upper respiratory tract infection (URTI) is more. And viral infection is the most common cause for this. Influenza is the most common virus causing this.
So better to follow these steps for better symptomatic relief.
1. Avoid oily and spicy food.
2. Avoid hard to chew food.
3. Drink plenty of fluids orally and keep yourself hydrated.
4. Do warm water gargles 5-6 times a day.
5. Do steam inhalation 5-6 times a day.
6. Start antihistamine and anti inflammatory drugs.
Since these drugs are prescribed medicines, you need doctor 's prescription for them.
Don't worry, you will be alright in 1 week.
