Suffering From Depression. How Can I Confirm My Illness?

I am currently suffering from depression and off of work,, the insurance company coverage for Short Term disability keeps putting me through all sorts of issues to provide proof of my illness so I can claim, however even with all I have done and my medical doctor has done they still continue to refuse my claim,, What do I do?

Hi there, thanks for asking. You can ask a psychiatrist to refer you for some psychometric tests that show or suggest that you are depressed. After assessment, you can use those reports and also the psychiatrist opinion for your claim. I wish you can succeed in your way.
