Suffering From Body Odor. What Other Options Can I Look Into?

Im suffering from body odor . I bathe 2-3 times a day, 30 minutes each time. I use anti bacterial soap to wash, followed by body scrub. I maintain good diet , with little meat. Exercise regularly. Consumes probiotics everyday, drinks tons of water, and consumes vege and fruits. I use deodorant and perfume when i go out. Its been bugging me for two years or so. What other options can i look into (I believe its not TMAU ). Thanks

Hi,

Welcome to HCM

I can understand your anxiety for the problem you are suffering from. You have mentioned nothing about your height or weight. Try to maintain a normal BMI, a fatty body can present with symptom that you have mentioned. Get your lipid tests and fitness tests done.

You should try to restrict non-vegetarian food for some time, vegetarian food is equally nutritious and healthy. Help you liver off-load excess toxins from your system. Take liver tonics.

Bacterial growth on skin breaks the waste products excreted by the sweat glands and cause bad odour. It is good to know you take plenty of water, keep yourself well hydrated, it will help to flush out the harmful toxins out of your body.

Take yoghurt, fruits, veggies, juice and substantial home made non-greasy, non-spicy nutritious food. Personal hygiene is to be much cared about, take showers, stay shaven, wear cotton clothes. Avoid strong deodrants, try to be naturally clean.

Antiperspirant containing aluminium chloride can be used when you are with opposite sex ( limit the use) to avoid embarrassment of any kind. Surgery is another option to get rid of troublesome sweat glands but I suggest you to have patience, work out with internal purification of your body and your problem will disappear, take care.
