Suffer From Yeast Infections On The Feet And Ankle. Asked To Clean With Vinegar. How To Use It?

I've been incomplete instructions regarding yeast infection on the top of my foot and ancle. I've been told to soak my socks in vinager to kill the yeast. Will this be a one time treatment, can the vinager be diluted? Should the socks (white) be rinced, washed and dried after soaking? Now long should the socks be soaked in vinegar? The cream I have been prescribed for is "Clotrimazole".

Hello and welcome to HCM,

The fungal (yeast infection) of feet is caused by accumulation of sweat in between toes.
This problem is more common during summers.
The application of clotrimazole cream will clear away the infection.
However, some measures need to be taken to prevent further infection.

Firstly, dry the feet properly before applying the cream.
After applying the cream, wear the socks.
The places where the lesion is not present, you can use clotrimazole (candid) powder.

The socks can be dipped in vinegar till the infection does not clears away.
It is best to avoid wearing closed shoes for some days till the infection clears.

Thanks and take care
