Stomach Pain, Breathlessness, Painful Breathing And Speech, Shoulder Blade Pain And Neck Pain. What Is It?

My friend just called and said she is having severe pain in left stomach radiating to her shoulder blade and now even in her neck. it hurts to breathe and speak. She is contemplating calling an ambulance or going to ER. What do you suggest. I thought it sounded like gas; she has been complaining of gas pains this week a few times.
