Sore Throat, Cough, Loss Of Voice. Suggest Antibiotics To Prevent Bronchial Infection Or Pneumonia?

i have had a sore throat and cough for almost 3 weeks. Lost my voice then too. Still cannot talk. I am concerned that I have bronchitis now. I had it a few years ago and this is similar. I do not have a high fever. I can eat and rest. What if any antibiotic is recommended to ward off bronchial infection or pneumonia?

Hi,
It seems that due to upper respiratory tract infection there might be having edema on vocal cord giving rise to hoarseness of voice.
Now this infection produced lower respiratory tract infection.
Consult your doctor and with one course of higher antibiotic will cure your both problems.
Take vicks vapor inhalation.
Ok and take care.
