Hi, I am a 23 year old female and have just started a BSN nursing program and have no insurance. I am trying to find out what I can do to get well quick. My symptoms include, extremely sore throat and glands, sides of neck are so sore can barely move head from side to side. Fever of 102 that breaks but then comes back, also very bad headache and pressure in temples and ears.

Hi and thanks for the query
Looks like you have upper respiratory tract infection.
U will require an antipyretic and anti inflammatoryand decongestant nose drops.
If symptoms persist for more than 5 days then you will require an appropriate antibiotic.
Meanwhile please follow some general measures
1) Warm salt water gargling 4 times per day.
2) Steam inhalation 4 times per day.
3) Plenty of fluids. 4 litres per day.
4) Avoid fan and air conditioning.
5) Avoid cold foods.
Maintain a temperature chart and see a doctor soon.
