My girlfriend has been having this skin problem for the last 3 years. She gets these open soars a couple times a month for what seems to be no reason. They appear mostly on her legs below the knee, and when they form the skin looks slightly darker than normal and then about 3 hours later it like the epidermis over that spot sloughs off. She says its very painful each time she gets one. We have a couple pictures of the one that she has now if that would help. Thanks
After reading your query it appears that your girl friend has a the probelm of Vasculitits. There may be other possibility of simple urticaria too. It will be better if you can see a dermatologist near you at the time of occurrence of lesion so that the best opinion can be provided. Meanwhile you can apply simple fluticasone or Hydrocortisone cream over the area and do not try to scratch the area.
Hi i think she is suffering from prurigo nodularis or infectious eczematous dermatitis.it is hypersensitivity reaction to mosquito bites or other insect bites.it occurs mainly due to xerosis of skin.use a moisteriser daily and apply diprovate -g ointment in the night.use of atarax 25 mg at night.and use antibiotic twice daily can cureit
