Sore And Painful Legs And Calf Muscles, Blood Clots. What Could This Be?

I am a 40 year old female. I am having constant leg pain in both legs, mainly the right, but it is at the top of my calf. They feel as if I "Worked out " hard and am very sore but they've been this way for about 4 days now and have not worked out at all. People tell me I should be concerned about blood clots in my legs and/or that I probably have bad circulation. What should I do?

Hello ,
Thanks for your query .
The aching pain in your calf could be probably due to deep vein thrombosis . This is a condition which is due to presence of a blood clot / thrombus in your deep veins . I would suggest you to get a bilateral venous Doppler done . following the confirmation of the report you can be put on anti coagulant medications such as low molecular weight heparin taken intra venously or warfarin orally .
hope this helps .
thank you
