Solid Bump On The Metus Of Outer Ear After An Earache. Had 3 Servings Of Wheat Products. Any Connection ?

I just discovered a fairly solid bump on what I think is called the meatus of my outer ear. It is about 1/4" in diameter at most. It came up rapidly. I had an earache in this ear yesterday. I am currently eating at least 3 servings of wheat products daily in prep for blood tests for celiac. Any connection? I do not tend to form cysts or have skin issues.

Hello,
If could be because of skin infection and is known as furuncle like boil.,It is because of the cleaning an trauma which has happened .
You need to get done an ENT consultation and get it ruled out by examination
you need to take antibiotics for the infection and also anti inflammtory medicines to get the edema and swelling to go off as it is a very painful condition . and the pain may increase now as the infection spreads , it is good that you noticed it early.
DO NOT CLEAN YOUR EARS
