Small Raised Papule With Dark Center On Hand, Slight Itching. Another On Foot Cleared With Red Mark. What Is It ?

ABOUT 2 WEEKEND AGO I NOTICED A SMALL RAISED PAPULE WITH A DARK CENTER ON MY HAND. IT DIDNT REALLY BOTHER JUST ITCHED FROM TIME TO TIME. AS THE DAYS WENT ON I STARTED TO NOTICE A COUPLE MORE POP UP. ABOUT A COUPLE OF DAYS AGO I WAS SHOWERING AND NOTICED ANOTHER ONE FORMING ON MY FOOT BETWEEN MY BIG TOE AND MIDDLE TOE. AFTER THEY CLEAR IM LEFT WITH A RED MARK THATS KIND OF SORE BUT ON THE INSIDE ITS WEIRD. AND I FORGOT THERES ABOUT 3 PLACES ON MY PALMS WHERE THE BUMPS WERE FORMING BUT TURNED TO A CALLOUS LIKE BUMP! I'VE NEVER HAD AYTHING LIKE THIS! MY PRETTY SOFT HANDS ARE SLOWLY BECOMING TOMBOY HANDS!

Hi,
Welcome to HCM.
You are having papular eruptions with central depression on hands and feet. And there is only slight itching..no other symptoms. Some of them resided with pigmentation. Still, they are increasing in numbers.
With this much history, it seems that you might be having molluscum contagiosum, a viral skin disease. Thorough clinical examination is needed..so, you consult nearby dermatologist for firm diagnosis.
After the diagnosis, the mode of treatment is decided.
1) simple extraction of molluscum bodies from the lesions by needle and currette
2)electrocautery under local anaesthesia.
3)cryotherapy
4) chemical cautery using trichloroacetic acid or salicylic acid.
For the treatment, you discuss with your doctor and have treatment.
Before that DM and HIV should be ruled out by blood tests.

I hope you got my answer.
Thanks.
