Small Child Having Reddish Brown Spots On Stomach Where The Ribs End. Cause Of Worry?

Infant having reddish brown spots on stomach . Should I be concerned? My 8 mo old son woke up this morning with a reddish brown spot on his stomach it is right at the base of where the ribs end, it is on the right side and about the size of a fifty cent piece, and he has one on his left side of his stomach (same spot) but it is a little less visable. Is this something I should be concerned about? I have never seen anything like this before. YYYY@YYYY

Pediatrician 's  Response
In the light of description provided the rash seems to be non specific & benign.
As long as the baby is behaving & feeding well & not having fever you can observe the rash for 2-3 days. If they do not fade or new similar rashes appear or any other worrisome symptom arises get him checked by your GP.
