Small Child, Fever, Cold Hands And Feet. Causes For Symptoms?

Hi, my 2 year old son has not been right for about 24 hours now, he isnt too bad in the morning but in the afternoon and at bedtime he is getting really mard, he has a bit of a fever and his hands and feet are quite cold at times, any suggestions to what it might be? havent been to a doctor yet with it only being yesterday afternnon and earlier today

In kids fever due to any cause presents like this.
With the change in weather and onset of flu season, they are more prone to viral infections now.
Give him parcetamol syrup for fever and take him to the doctor for. examination
