Small Brown Spots On Backs Of Hands, Rough Skin. Advise?

About two weeks ago i woke up to find both backs of my hands covered in small brown freckle-like spots. The spots vary in size, but aren't raised just slightly rougher than the rest of my skin. I'm only 29, & take better than average care of myself as far as eating & exercising is concerned. I take vitamin supplements daily, & haven't used any new skin products. Just curious as to what these could be.
