Slurring In Words, Left Side Of Mouth Was Drooping, Smile Looked Fine. Could Stroke Last For A Minute ?

My husband was talking to me and it sounded like he was slurring his words and it looked like the left side of his mouth was drooping. I was half asleep when he was talking to me and when I noticed it I asked him to smile. His smile looked fine and then I asked him to raise both arms above head and he held them there fine. Could a stroke last a minute or two
