Orthopaedic Surgeon, Joint Replacement 's  Response
Hi Dr.Sabiha, thanks for writing. An anterior wedge compression of D12 without any neurological deficit is considered as a stable injury and there is nothing to worry about. As you have been prescribed the right medications, please continue them as advised. The only precaution is to avoid bending movements for atleast 3-4 months and lifting up heavy weights from the floor. During travelling, it is advisable to wear a brace for dorsal spine support. Hope this helps
