Skin Dry And Harsh And Black After Using Razor And Hair Remover. Hair Growth Uneven, Waxing Not Helping

I have a skin problem my skin is very dry and harsh. Actually lots of hair on my body so 1st i did use razor then after few months i used hair remover which is pretty much ruined my skin and have become black. So now i am using waxing but for me this is not effective.. my hair growth is uneven. Please help me out.

Hi. Thanks for posting your concern at HCM

Pigmentation after hair remover cream is a common side effect. You can use a demelanising cream like the one containing kojic acid, Arbutin, Glycolic acid to lighten the pigmentation.

You can use a cream containing Eflornithine hydrochloride to slow down the hair growth. It inhibits the hair growth cycle but effects are only as long as you use it.

The best way to get red of unwanted hair permanently is to undergo laser hair reduction. You will be required to undergo 6-8 sessions for complete reduction. Thereafter you might need to take maintainance session once in an year or two.
