Sinus Blockage And Swollen Lymph Node Behind The Ear. ENT Scans, X-rays Done. Medicines Offering No Relief

For the past 2 - 3 years I have suffered from a blocked sinus (one side only but changes from side-to-side throughout the day and presents as a "blocked nose"). It is more prevalent when lying down (at night etc) and is predominantly the left hand side. I also have a swollen lymph node behind the left ear that goes up and down (is mobile and not painful). Have had ENT scans, tests etc including x-rays, blood tests etc and tried a host of medicines for sinus problems with no success.

Hi.Thanks for writing on HCM.
If the medications are not offering adequate relief this might be due to persistent infection which might require drainage(of pus) using a technique called FESS(endoscopic procedure).Talk to your ENT specialist if this helps us.Lymph node (seems to be filled with pus) and might require incision and drainage.
Hope I have answered your query.
