Should Thyroid Medicine Dosage Be Altered Based On The Thyroid Panel Report?

Sir, I m tested my thyroid level in 7 years before and doctor advised to me take Eltroxine 100mg tablet. Recently again i tested my thyroid level. My Recent Thyroid test report: T3 0.66 ng/ml T4 4.04 ug/dl TSH 100.000 ulU/ml Here after what dosage table I will take?

Hello, Thanks for using HCM. I had gone through your reports. these rports suggest that you still have low T3, low T4 and raised TSH suggestive of hypothyroidism.
as you were already on 100 mcg of eltroxine the reason for these reports would be
1)either you may not be compliant with tablet. may have missed doses frequently or not taking on empty stomach in morning.
2) your body weight may be high and the dose is insufficient for you.
we need previous reports like old TSH, T3,and T4, your age, weight and sex.
we need to be sure you are not suffering from any heart problem before we increase the dose further so you need to consult a general physician.
let him examine you and if your age is more than 45-50 you may need to undergo ECG and TMT and your old reports and then decide on increasing the dosage..
