Should Thrush Medication Be Started For Tongue Spots With Pain?
Hi, had thrush 3 times because of steroids..tongue never healed. Still have small tender open spot on end of tongue, no white spots. Having a lot of pain with eating. This has been going on for a month or more since last thrush treatment with antibiotics. Still gave some swish and swallow available..should I start it?

Thrush treatment should be with nystatin. U need to tackle the cause what is causing thrush, steroid overuse / antibiotics misuse so forth... all have to be stopped or dosages reduced. Regular.gargling is essential after medication and to.reduce thrush. Immunity has to be build up with b complex and good diet. Nystatin gargles are also.probably available and can be uaed
