Should The ER Be Visited For Persistent Dizziness?
.. I am a 24 year old male with no previous health conditions. The past couple of days I am experiencing dizziness while sitting or standing. Shall I go to ER or quick care for these symptoms?
Hello welcome to 'Ask A Doctor' service. I have reviewed your query and here is my advise.
Your dizziness could be from inner ear infection like Labyrinthitis or positional vertigo like condition. Investigate with hb estimation and serum blood sugar estimation also to rule out anemia and diabetes. According to the cause of specific treatment given. Vertin that contain betahistine 8 mg for five days can be prescribed. I suggest you to consult otorhinolaryngologist or er for your examination.
Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
