Should Smoking Be Avoided Until I Recover From Cold?

I ve had a cold/bug for about two or three weeks now. I was getting better at one stage but due to a habit I that s runs through my genes, it made my sickness worse. I cough up greeny yellow stuff that s turning grey recently and it taste like full on chlorine.. or dirty farm animals, if they had a taste... Should I give up the bong til I get better?

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Dear patient,
You should definitely stop smoking at least for 1 more week after you get better! Smoking slows the healing, and on the other side promotes the proliferation of bug/virus.
I hope you get better fast!
