Should I Take Cipralex For Anxiety Along With Vemma Bode Diet ?
Hello, Im currently on anxiety medication for a year now but I haven t taking it for 3 days because I ran out but I got some now but still haven t taken it. Reason being is Im on my third week of vemma bode diet but realized today that there products contain lithium which apparently causes to double the dose the cipralex within something in the brain. Now its to late for me to go to the doctor which I will go tomorrow morning but for now I am very scared because I need to take my pill since its been 3 days but i don t want to shock my body but at the same time I don t want to double the doses or if theres currently a problem i don t know about...
You should continue with your medicines as prescribed. The amount of lithium in the diet is minuscule. The interaction of lithium with Cipralex is in reference to people who are taking lithium as a medicine. Dietary intake of lithium will not pose the same risk. Lithium also does not double serum levels of Cipralex. It just increases the serotonin levels in the body, thus potentiating the action of Cipralex.
Best wishes.
