Should I Stop Intake Of Bismuth As My Stool Is Black?

i am taking bismuth and today the stool was black.. I have read the the label it said it is temporay and harmless , im concerned should i just keep taking bismuth or sto.. first time i had a black stool so im little scared the label also says stop if the stool is black or bloody

I read your question and I understand your concern.
Bismuth cause blackning of stool and even of tongue in 1-10 percent due to formation of bismuth sulfide by combining with sulphur in saliva or intestines. However it is harmless and temporary. there is no need to stop the the drug.
It may take several days after stopping of bismuth to have normal stool.
I would like to advise you to take plenty of water and liquids.
