Should I Stop Giving Abilify Due To Its Side Effects?

my daughter is 42, she has been taking 5 mg of ambilify for a week. She can t talk, she just stares at me, she acts so scared, she is very nervous , she can t make a simple decision, like what to put on to wear. we cant see her dr until wed.. I cut her does into half tonight, but I really would like to stop this drug. its scary. She hypo ventilates also. She can t remember what she wants to say and it frustrates her. I wish I had not given her the half of the 5 mg tonight and just stopped it altogether. what is your opinion?

Abilify (aripiprazole) is an antipsychotic. The reason and symptoms due to which she was on this medication is not mentioned. Do not stop the drug abruptly, if you think that your daughter is having severe side effects, contact your care provider and discontinue or go for alternatives as suggested.
I hope the above information helps you. Thanks.
