Should I Be Worried Of Eating Melted Plastic?

I just ate some soup and found a piece of plastic from the container...not the hard plastic lid, but the plastic covering over the top that comes on store-bought soup. So...I am guessing I may have eaten some melted plastic...is this anything to be concerned about?

HI
Thank for asking to HCM
I really appreciate your concern, and looking to the given history here I would like to say you that plastic is such material that does not react with any thing and looking to the property of this no need to worry about this if you have eaten the this then this would come out the fecal material like that only, hope this information helps you have a good day.
