Should I Be Worried Of A 6 Year Old Gasping For Air?

My 6 year old son keeps gasping for air. It has been going on for about 2 weeks now. At first, I thought it was just a joke, or he wanted my attention, but now I realize that even when he thinks I am not looking, he still does it. Should I be worried??

Hi
Welcome to Healthcare-Magic
Greetings of the day
Such pattern of breathing can be sometimes be seen in gastroesophageal reflux.
I would suggest you to get a regular appointment with your Pediatrician, it will be very much reassuring to you.
Even if the complaint looks non significant, its always better to get evaluated instead of missing something important.

Take Care

Best Regards
