Should I Be Worried As Small Rolled Off From Bed And Hit The Bed?

Hi,my baby will be 8 months next week. today we had an accident she rolled off the bed that is about 3 feet high and onto hardwood floor. She was lying on her back when i picked her up,so obviously she hit her head. she seems fine now. Nothing different, should i be worried.

Hello. Thank you for your question. This is a very common occurrence in this age group. As long as there was no loss of consciousness and the time of the fall, and she hasn't vomited within the first 24 hours, we don't have to worry about head injury. That she seems fine now, generally rules out any other injury. You can give a gentle squeeze to each limb and joint. If she doesn't cry, you've ruled out injury.
