Should I Be Worried About The Cramps,dark Stool And Itching All Over The Body During Pregnancy?

I am 35 weeks pregnant and I have been having mild to severe cramping for over two hours. The cramping comes and goes every 20 minutes. No pelvic pressure. Dark green almost black solid stool. Itching all over my body. I have gestational hypertension. Should I go in to make sure everything is ok?

hello and thank you for aksing HCM,

my suggestion is to go to the emergency room or your gynecologist as soon as possible because gestational hypertension can lead to much more severe problems which are dangerous for you and your baby. Since you have cramps which come in regular intervals, it can be labor.
So go as soon as possible to check what it is, because you are maybe developing HELLP syndrome, a very dangerous condition, which is affecting your liver and platelets in blood. Itching can be connected with liver problems and dark stool with bleeding in gastrointestinal system.
