Earlier this month I had a strange spot in my vision. I found out it is a cotton wool spot. Different doctors have told me different things. Some say it is basically a stroke in my eye. The eye specialist says it s nothing to worry about. The neurologist says it could be a retinal artery blood clot. I ve had an MRI and an MRA and a carotid ultrasound. And many blood tests. So far, it s all ok. But I ve noticed the past few weeks that I get lightheaded, short of breath, and my heart races when I do my hair in the morning. Especially when I have to put my arms right over my head. I ve also felt slightly off balance and lightheaded at work. Last year I had heart palpitations and discovered I have PVCs. I have had a few heart palpitations since this all started this month. And I m following up with the neurologist tomorrow. Should I be worried about these symptoms all together? Could something wrong with my heart cause the cotton wool spot?
