Should I Be Worried About A Mole On Arm If There Is Cancer History In Family?

Hi, I just noticed a little brown mole appear on the underside of my arm that wasn t there yesterday. It s not abnormally large or strangely colored but it is strangely shaped - elevated from my skin and looking kind of like it s dangling. I m a little freaked out that it appeared all of the sudden out of nowhere. Cancer seems to run in my family so I may just be paranoid. But I was wondering if I should be worried. Thank you for your time.

Hi.Thanks for using health care magic. You need to consult a dermatologist and look for any suspicion of malignancy in your arm.You can take a punch biopsy of the lesion to diagnose the nature of the lesion. Since you have a family history, the mole can be a warning sign.So it's necessary to take care of the lesion. Thank you.
