Should I Be Concerned About Dizziness After Hitting My Head?
I hit my head very hard the other day on the corner of my dresser while bending down to pick up a small trash can. It stunned me for a minute & a few hours later I noticed I had an egg on my fore-head right over my right eye. The next night had a bout of dizziness. yesterday I was fine but today I m dizzy again. I hit the same spot on my fore-head a few years back which gave me a concussion. Should I be concerned?
Just put some ice in it, but I believe you may benefit from seeking out a TBI specialist or a neurologist who can assess your baseline neurological and neurocognitive functioning.
As well, they may be able to help with the dizziness (vertigo?) as you could be suffering from BPPV (Benign Paroxysmal Positional Vertigo) as a result of the trauma to the head.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Take care

Should I Be Concerned About Dizziness After Hitting My Head?
Hello, The description of your head is consistent with another mTBI or concussion. The egg over the right eye is likely a contusion of subcutaneous tissue and will go down.
