Should Dry Patches Of Skin Be Worrisome In A Marfan Syndrome Patient?

I have a 10 yr old son that has Marfan Syndrome. I noticed two or three days ago that he has dry patches of skin on his knees, I am assuming that it is Psoriasis. This morning his knees are bruised. Is this anything to be concerned about? He has no pain or discomfort.

Hi,

I hope that you are taking care o his heart and aorta, right? I'm certain of dad, you seems to be a great parent. As you know marfan syndrome cames with skin disoders. If this patches are taking off, take care, because it could infect. And yes its important return to your doctor and see if there is other changes in his body.

Note: For detailed guidance on genetic screening consult a genetics specialist
