Should A Pre-pregnancy Test Be Done Before Trying To Conceive?

I had misscarriage, after that doctor suggested torch panel in which rubella n IgM was positive ,doctor given me acivir800mg for 10 days. Now i m planning for nxt pregnancy after 3mnths of vaccination, is it needed to test again for the same and whether my husband should go for this test as he has not gone through any tedt previously.

Rubella is an infection that can greatly affect the pregnancy so it is important that after an infection to wait few months before conceiving again, as you have already done.

To make sure you have developed immunity and are protected it might be advisable to have the blood test again and have IgM and IgG for rubella. If you are IgG positive you have developed immunity and are protected.
