Should Mifegest Tablets Be Taken Orally Or Used Vaginally?
Did use of Mifegest in oral manner and verginal manner are same or there is some kind of difference, because some pharmacy said take all tablest in oral manner but some pharmacy and doctor are saying to take few last tablet in verginal insertion manner. So i am very confused how i should give this medicine to my partner in which of the best manner. please advice me and my partner is in initial days of 6th weak and i had USG which result came normal. So i last i decided to take 3 pills orally and remaining 2 pills through vaginal insertion. And 1st pill i had given her yesturday night and today i will give 2 pills at the same time through tea as suggested by pharmacian and tommorrow remaining 2 pills through second method. waiting for reply, please reply asap. As you stated that your partner is 6 week pregnant .
Mifegest ( mifepristone ) is given "ORALLY " ( by mouth)as a single dose 400-600 mg followed 48 HOURS later by misoprostol 400 mcg or gemeprost 0.5-1.0 mg VAGINALLY.
Misoprostol given orally is less effective.
Mifepriston ( MIFEGEST ) as a single dose is less effective .
You didn't mention the dosage so this is not possible to give correct reply .
However deal as mentioned above.
