Should I Take Steroid Medication For Carpal Tunnel Syndrome And Tennis Elbow?
Iam a staff nurse working in icu,with complaints of carpel tunnel syndrome on both hands and now recently got tennis elbow on right hand now with severe pain,if taking oral medicines and working in the unit will recover the condition or I have to reduce or avoid the work in the icu like lifting the patients ,machines or any work that strain my hands and i dont want to take any steroid medications or any other high dose medications as iam on treatment for a second baby,please give me suggestions.

before i give my advice i want to know what is the duration of your problem and do you have hypothyroidism?what kind of treatment you had till now?depending on that either you can have injection steroid in the carpal tunnel a safe OPD procedure or more definitive is surgical release of carpal tunnel which is safe and more reliable.
