Should I Stop Exercises For Back And Buttock Pain If Worsening It?

I have been to a physio and have been given exercises to do as I suffer from lower back & buttock pain. She did sports massage & gave me exercises but my pain is worse. should i stop the exercises. I have degeneration of my lumbar spine and left sacriolliac joint overstrain,

Thanks for asking.
Based on your clinical history and query, my opinion is as follows:
1. If the exercises are worsening the pain, it means there is plenty of injury or you are doing it wrong.
2. In acute conditions, rest is important. Once the pain is less, you can start back strengthening with exercises.
3. Take additionally supplements like Vit D and Calcium.
