Should I Be Worried After RUQ Doppler Ultrasound For Abdominal Pain?

I had RUQ Doppler ultrasound 4 days ago because of abdominal pain on the right side. The Findings: a cyst in the right hepatic lobe measures 1.1 x 1.1 x 1.3 cm. A parapelvic cyst in the mid right kidney measures up to 1.7 cm. should I be worried about it?

Hello!

Thank you for the query.

Small liver cysts are benign lesions and all you need to do is to have an ultrasound once a year to have it under control. Same thing with kidney cyst.
For sure this cysts are not causing your upper right abdominal pain.
If this pain appears after a meal, nausea is present, I suggest you to have gastroscopy as a next step.
If you have any constipation, diarrhea, blood in stool, and are over the age of 50, colonoscopy should be done.

Hope this will help.
Regards.
