Should I Be Worried About Severely Elevated D Dimer Level?
Hi, I went to the doctor for heartburn from chest to abdomen and GERD symptoms. I do have a gallstone and a hepatic hemangioma. Slightly elevated lymphocytes, slight low netrophils, and low vitamin d, all other tests are normal besides d dimer. D-dimer showed 2400 when it should be 500. Should I be worried about d dimer?

Severe elevated D-dimer can be due to thrombotic phenomenon is body and this can be dangerous leading to danger to life. I suggest you to discuss the problem with your physician.
