Should I Be Concerned For The Frequent Bowels After A Surgery For Obstruction In The Bowel?

my son just hadsurgery for small bowel obstruction and after being in hospital for a week togo home three days ago he has threw up three times one time for each day went to thebathroom one time since hes been home im just want to know if I should take him back to the hospital

following a surgery for small bowel obstruction, the obstruction should have been relieved, and your son should have been comfortable. what you have described here, mandates medical attention.
Had the complaint been persistent diarrhea,alone, I would have thought its malabsorption, and waiting a while, or changing the dietary routine might have helped...
However, vomiting , and that too repeatedly, warrants medical attention.
