Should I Be Concerned About Constant Tinnitus?

A few months ago I began to notice that I could hearing a whooshing sound in my right ear corresponding with my pulse. It was intermittent at first but is now constant. My hearing is not affected and I have no abnormal wax build up or drainage. Should I be concerned?
