Should Flagyl, Ercefuryl, Orelox Or Bactiflox Be Taken To Treat Mild Diarrhea?

Hello I have a severe diarrhea which occurred to me today after having fever yesterday! The fever receded but the diarrhea is still on. The frequency of the diarrhea is not much maybe 5 to 6 times today but with a mild stomach pain!! I need to be taking antibiocs as it is cl a that it is some kind of bacterial infection!! My question is if I have to take flagyl, ercefuryl, or Orelox or Bactiflox!!

Hi,
Thanks for posting in HCM.
I understand your concern.
Based on your description, it appears that you could be having diarrhoea due to infection of gastrointestinal tract.
Kindly take a course of medication which contains Ornidazole with Ofloxacin antibiotics. Drink good quantity of water and fluids. Take oral rehydration solution (ORS) to prevent dehydration and loss of electrolytes.
Gradually, you should be able to overcome the problem.
