Should Clomiphene Be Started On The Second Of Periods?

Hi,i am asked to take Duphaston for 14 days before I start with clomiphene on 2nd day of my period for ovulation induction. Problem is that I got periods on 10th day of Duphaston even when I didn t miss it for a day. Now I am confused if continue with Duphaston only or start taking clomiphene as its my 2nd day of periods. Suggest something.

Understand your concern
Clomiphne citrate and duphaston should be taken to induce the period and regularize the period in hormonal imbalance or PCOS.
As you already got period then no need to take duphaston. Duphaston should be used in the second half of the period.
Clomiphene should be taken in the starting days of period for 5-6 days.
But remeber it should be taken under the advice of gynecologist and regular follow up will be required.
So report to gynecologist and take advice.
